Education
Ebony entered graduate training after years of experience in the nonprofit sector, working closely with major agencies through the New Jersey Division of Developmental Disabilities and residential service systems. While this work was impactful, she recognized that advocacy and leadership alone were not sufficient to create the depth of change she sought. This awareness led her to pursue advanced clinical education to expand both scope and impact.
She earned her Bachelor of Social Work and Master of Social Work from Rutgers University through the advanced standing program, completing an accelerated course load with focused academic rigor. Her education emphasized clinical theory, evidence informed practice, and ethical decision making, complementing her extensive field experience.
The integration of formal clinical training with years of leadership and systems level work fostered a deeper sense of professional clarity and self awareness. This foundation continues to influence how Ebony approaches clinical practice, advocacy through leadership, and consultation today.
“When I walked across the stage at graduation, I made two hand gestures — an ‘L’ and a heart. Those gestures are embedded in the IntraBloom logo today, representing the values and intention that guide my work.”
